Annie WalkerRGN BSc (Hons) MBAcC Lic Ac PGcertHE
Annie has 30 years experience as a healthcare professional. She has a BSc Honours degree in acupuncture and completed an internship in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Huang Zhou Hospital, China. Annie is both a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the British Acupuncture Council. With a Post Graduate qualification in Higher Education, she teaches Biomedicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. She also holds a Post Graduate certificate in Accident & Emergency Nursing. She is one of the Directors of Acupuncture Works.
Areas of specialty
Annie's special interest is in Women's Health & Gynaecology, which she teaches from a biomedicine and Chinese medical perspectives. Her passion is to optimise women's health to balance the natural cycle, reduce difficult symptoms and to optimise natural fertility. She teaches gynaecology & reproductive health at the College of Acupuncture, is on the steering commitee for the Acupuncture Fertility Network. Annie has vast experience in treating patients undergoing Assisted Reproductive Techniques and underpins research evidence in her treatments and lifestyle advice, whilst focussing on individual treatment goals.
Annie has more than 12 years experience of working with psychological and emotional difficulties, including addiction, depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol misuse, detoxification and withdrawal management. She is a member of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA UK) and has practised auricular (ear) acupuncture to treat addiction since 2001.
Annie has completed post graduate study in acupuncture for pregnancy and childbirth with the renowned Jani White. Obstetric training includes:

Annie has had positive outcomes for women she has treated during pregnancy to reduce nausea, pain, anxiety and to prepare for a more efficient labour.
Annie is experienced in treating women undergoing fertility treatment and fully understands Assisted Reproduction, IVF Protocols and the research endorsing pre and post Embryo Transfer acupuncture. She supports her patients along their journey to parenthood using evidence based and timely acupuncture with sensitive care.
Annie has been trained by the late Dr Tan in treating pain using the Balance Technique. Here the area of pain is not needled directly but is mirrored in another part of the body. This technique is highly effective and can give instant relief. She has also completed post-graduate training in facial acupunctureat the London College of Traditional Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine. Annie has studied Person Centred Counseling and is trained and experienced in active listening. She holds a non-judgmental attitude towards all her clients and embraces an unconditional positive regard.
Caroline Bellman
MSc, BSc (Hons), MBAcC, Lic Ac
Caroline has over 15 years experience as a healthcare professional. She has a BSc Honours degree in acupuncture from the Northern College of Acupuncture as well as degrees in Clinical Forensic Psychology and Person-Centred Counselling. During her degree Caroline studied Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis, moxibustion, cupping, and treating musculoskeletal pain. Since qualifying Caroline has helped to support people with the conditions such as:

Digestive disorders
Mental Health problems
Skin problems
Imsomnia
Headaches
Ear, Nose and Throat problems
In addition to using acupuncture, Caroline’s holistic approach to healthcare extends to teaching mindfulness yoga outside of her acupuncture practice.
Lucy Campbell
BSc(Hons), MBAcC, Lic Ac
Lucy holds a BSC Hons. in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture & is am a member of our professional body: The British Acupuncture Council and is fully insured by them.
"I am passionate about acupuncture, and the many different ways in which one can practise; I am committed to growing my knowledge and continuing my learning with regular and continued professional development for as long as I am practising. I have undertaken further training in Dr Tans miraculous pain relief methods, IVF protocols and supporting women through assisted reproduction, MSK pain relief techniques and auricular therapy."
Lucy offers a listening ear and treatment for a myriad of conditions including:
Gynaecological issues: Patients undergoing IVF treatment, or having difficulties conceiving: Lucy works closely with Annie Walker (Didsbury/Hale), and has gained much knowledge from her expertise.
Musculoskeletal issues: including sports injuries and pregnancy related pain. Lucy is trained in the miraculous Dr Tan’s Balance Method formulated to soothe pain instantly
Migraines and headaches
Lucy has a special interest in treating anxiety, depression, stress and trauma and has undertaken further training in these areas
Digestive issues
Obstetric acupuncture including labour induction, turning of breech babies
Lucy is passionate about the ‘multi-bed’ style of acupuncture, allowing acupuncture and the beauty of TCM to be opened up to all walks of life.
As well as acupuncture, Lucy uses diet and lifestyle advice to enhance treatment as well as uses moxa and electroacupuncture when needed.
Lucy has also undertaken postgraduate training in Paediatric Acupuncture, and welcomes teenagers to the multibed.
